Settings Menu

In the settings menu, you can rescan all and access the preferences dialog.

Rescan All

• This option will rescan all directories from the settings menu to check for added or deleted files.

• This is useful if you add new brushes or alphas to a directory that the plug-in is already scanning.

General

Single-Click Select

• This changes the default behavior of double clicking to select a brush to a single click.

Show Advanced Tooltips

• This option shows more information in the brush tooltip when you hover over a brush icon.

ZBrush Path

• This shows the path of the ZBrush install. If this is incorrect you can change it here.

License Key

• This displays your license key.

Theme

• Here you can change themes of the ToolBox. These are preset color schemes.

Alpha

Locations

• Set the location here where your alphas are located.
• Do not use the ZStartup folder for alphas. ZBrush has a limit of 300 alphas. Once this limit is reached, the ToolBox will stop loading alphas into ZBrush. Using a custom location removes this limit.

Tags

• Tags can be renamed and deleted here.

Categories

• User categories can be added, edited and deleted here.

Brush

Locations

• Set the location here where your brushes are located.
• Do not use the ZStartup folder for brushes. ZBrush has a limit of 300 brushes. Once this limit is reached, the ToolBox will stop loading brushes into ZBrush. Using a custom location removes this limit.

Tags

• Tags can be renamed and deleted here.

Categories

• User categories can be added, edited and deleted here.

ZBrush Layout

Locations

• Set the location here where your ZBrush Layout config files (.cfg) are located.
• Do not use the ZStartup folder for your custom location.

Layouts

• You can rename your layouts here.
• Whatever is named here will show in the dropdown.
• The default UI Layouts that are included in ZBrush cannot be renamed
• Renaming them here changes the actual filename.

Preference Buttons

Export Database

• The ToolBox Settings will be saved here.

• This includes the following:

• Favorite Tabs
• Categories
• Tags
• Brush Descriptions
• Brush Types
• Favorite Toggles
• Brush Locations
• Alpha Locations
• UI Layout Locations
• Current Color Scheme

Import Database

• Anything exported will be imported here.

Exit

• This will close the ToolBox
